Strict check-in. It was great for me that they had a baby chair and portable yard-play crib.Walking distance to beach access. Since I was in December, it was cold, and the house has only AC thermostat on the 2nd floor, where we couldn't get even temperature. 1st floor I was cold while other guys on 2nd floor were very, very much hot. Not one of great construction ideas. Besides that, I loved the community pool. Publix is 6-7 min drive. The city is small but very attractive. Many activities, just not all open in December. There is no backyard, so you can grill only in front of the house, next to door entrance. If you are staying more than 1 night, I would recommend bringing your own shampoos. Besides the beaches, it was a great atmosphere at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk and The Village of Baytowne Wharf. The pool was right around the corner from the house, which was awesome for our kids. The house was clean and as described. We had everything we needed and it was very close to the beach. My only complaint is that we couldnt get some of the tvs to work and when I tried to reach out, they did not respond. It was a holiday and not an emergency but at the same time, it was the tv we really needed to work as it was in the bunk bed room where most of the kids were sleeping. They give you a few things you need to start with like dish detergent and trash bags which I can say is better than most air bnbs! They also provide linens and soap! Everything is in a pretty walkable distance unless you want to get to the local restaurants and bars that are like 15 mins away, then I would recommend an Uber or Lyft but everything was pretty much right at our disposal. The bikes were a great touch, we definitely took advantage of those. Even through the weather wasnt that great, we didnt feel too bad being stuck in this house. Would definitely book here again.
