They have beach toys, umbrella, chairs, and a wagon to carry items across the street. We walked around the lake and beautiful homes behind the property. My nephews enjoyed site seeing on the bikes provided. My mother was comfortable in the bedroom on the main floor and enjoyed coffee on the back porch. My nephews were happy to see bunk beds and enjoyed gaming in the upstairs bedroom. We enjoyed a midnight game of Jenga and Uno. Check-in and check out were easy!! The beds were so comfy!! Its very close to the beach. Id say about a 5 minute easy walk. The beach area is public and its on the small side. The areas on either side of it is private and heavily monitored. We went down every morning about 9:30 or so to set up our umbrellas and chairs. Then wed go back to the house and wait for everyone to get ready. We never experienced any issues with finding a good spot. We did notice other people being told to move if they were not within the public beach range. The beach house was comfortable and well equipped for a family of 8 including a toddler. Beds were extremely comfortable and bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils. We also used the grill one night for bbq One morning we took a walk down to Gulf Place where there are areas to shop and eat. It was an easy 10 minute walk even while strolling a toddler. There are 4 beach chairs and a wagon included which we used each day. However, we brought our own beach umbrellas and other beach items. All in all we had a great time visiting Santa Rosa Beach and staying in this beautiful house. Hope to come back again sometime. The back porch looks out onto Oyster Lake and is secluded by trees and vegetation. It is tucked back off 30A so no road noisebut its only a 2 minute walk to the public beach access. Its a narrow public beach that is aggressively policed by the neighboring propertiesso if you need to set up a base camp you need to be careful where you set up. This was a beautiful locationabout halfway between Gulf Place and Topsail State Park. Much less crowded than the bigger access points across from Stinkys and Gulf Place. We biked to Grayton Beach (twice) and Seaside and to Topsail State Park, but found our sliver of public beach to be the nicest and least crowded. We spent some time at a nearby public park with skating, soccer fields and a splash pad and lots of shade..We had five teens and they played soccer and rugby one evening on a shaded soccer field. Also played foot golf at Watersound.The house itself is extraordinarily comfortable for a rental. The beds are insanely comfyall of them! The couches are also comfortable. Kitchen was well equippedwe cooked most nights. Huge pantry. Stocked with a small welcome kit so you can at least have coffee before getting groceries. And about thatdont go to Publix on a Saturday afternoon or evening!!! Super crowded! Outdoor shower. Beach cart and chairs. Plenty of parking, although its a straight driveway and we had to rearrange cars a few times. Tastefully decorated and not outdated, and just flat out comfy as home! Wow! The kitchen was better equipped than my own kitchen and with very nice utensils. Everything around the house worked fine including the jacuzzi tub which was a favorite with my wife. The beds were firm and comfortable and the whole house was inviting to us. My four grandsons slept well in the one bedroom with the two bunkbeds. We think that we made a good choice to select this vacation house for our 7 day stay. We enjoyed our stay at Seas the Day. The location in proximity to the beach, pool, and restaurants and shopping was excellent. The beach, like most others on 30A, was a small strip of public beach with private beaches to either side. We did not have any problem with over crowding, even at the peak of vacation season. Because it was so close, we would go in the morning and set up our beach chairs (included with the house) and umbrellas (brought with us), and then we would head to the beach once our kids were up and around. We liked having a small, private feeling, back yard and used the grill for several meals. The pool was just a few houses away and was small but great for taking an occasional dip. There was some normal wear and tear on the house itself, but the beds were comfortable and the house easily accommodated 4 adults and 6 children. We had a great week at Santa Rosa Beach and would stay here again. July 14, 2021 - VRBO Close to beach by ami f. This property met our needs. We travelled with 3 moms and 7 boys, aged 6-11. It showed some typical wear, but was clean overall. There is one living area and it is near the downstairs bedroom. The seating in that living room is for 6, comfortably. So when it was time to relax, we were on top of each other a bit, given that we were a party 10. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with supplies, but remember your coffee filters, ziplocks and foil, etc. The back porch felt secluded, even though we were very close to the other homes in the community. And sleeping was quiet and undisturbed by outside noises. The community pool was clean and easy to access. The community felt safe. The dune lake in the back was fun to paddle about, but our boys met little success fishing in it.Reaching the beach was pleasantly easy, as there is a public beach access right across the street. That being said, the beach are where you can actually set up is very narrow, as private residences to either side enforce their private property. The result is that you are crowded next to other folks who are trying to do the same. So go with a friendly attitude, and be ready to meet your beach neighbors. The water was beautiful and clean! We did not travel out to eat or shop much, but Stinkys Bait shop was right down the road as was a Tom Thumb for basic needs. We also used the Publix for grocery deliveries, etc. While we didnt have any cause to ring the owners, communication was easy. June 28, 2021 - Skyrun Fabulous Beach access by Donna F. The close access to the beach was what sold me on booking this house for our family’s annual Beach Trip. We had 8 adults & a 10 month old. The value also was a win. The pool was a two minute walk and beach was 5 min walk door to ocean. We walked up the street just shy of a mile for ice cream at Pecan Jacks three nights in a row, yes it is THAT good. The Walmart or Publix for groceries was about a 10 min drive. There are 4 beach chairs and a wagon, bring your own umbrella! There’s also a huge dog park for your fur babies past the Publix on 98 heading east. I love to cook so the kitchen is important to me. The pots and pans and silverware were all nice (no non stick though so make sure you get some butter!). No seasonings or foil, parchment/Saran Wrap, coffee filters, counter cleaner, tall kitchen garbage bags and hardly any Tupperware to store leftovers. It did have some basics like starter dishwasher pods, dish soap and sponge, tide, paper towel, toilet paper.No beach towels! That was a big surprise for us. Overall floor plan of the house was amazing. Plenty of room for 5 adults, two teenagers, two elementary kids and two dogs. The beds were very soft, maybe memory foam? Backyard was private for the most part but next to a different community pool and pond area. There’s a wash off area on the side of the house and a clean grill for your bbq.We stocked up at Walmart and had the greatest time ever! Will definitely be back. We've stayed on 30A for the last 10 years and this is the best stocked kitchen, good quality towels and mattresses we've ever had in a house . Short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back! May 18, 2021 - VRBO Great house, great location. by Rachel B. Weve stayed here before for girls trips in the past and as always it did not disappoint!! Nice and comfy plenty of room for everyone. Just a few things to note. Basics like toilet paper, trash bags etc are provided but you will probably need to purchase more. The kitchen is stocked with pots pans and utensils but no basic cooking items like oil, salt or pepper. The public beach access is a little confusing. Directly in front of the walkway is open to the public. To the left of the walkway is private property owned by a HOA and it is strictly enforced. A small section to the right of the walkway is private property too but we did not see that being strictly enforced. So you will need to either get to the beach early to get a spot in the middle or walk to your right for more public beach access. Still an amazing spot. We plan on coming back later in the summer. April 5, 2021 - Skyrun Great location on 30A by Jay D. We just got back from a fabulous week on 30A. This house exceeded all of our expectations. We had 7-9 adults there throughout the week. There was plenty of space. Rooms were super nice and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great as the beach was not crowded at all. We have been coming to 30 A for decades and we will definitely stay here again! March 26, 2021 - Airbnb Review by Bill Booked this for a last-minute spring break trip with my family of four (two teenagers) plus our 30lb dog. The beach access is great. 300 steps from the side door of the house to the beach and the beach was never crowded. Very residential area. The houses on Rue du Soleil are in back-to-back pairs with one house fronting the street and facing 30A and its pair facing the rear. This home faces the rear. The back area is quiet and wooded with a view of the lake and neighborhood on the other side of the lake. It's very private and it was nice for taking the dog out. The house itself has a nice layout and good space. It does not feel like you are in someone's home, it feels like you are in a house that is set up for high volume renting. I think the faux wood floors are the biggest reason for this. The WiFi was not great. It worked well in the main area on the first floor but was terrible on the second floor. I need to work a few of the mornings we were in the house and I could not take Zoom calls or sit in the bedrooms. I had to sit at the dining table amongst the family. March 19, 2021 - Airbnb Review by Jenny At first, we thought we had booked a place that was not in the best location, but we were so wrong. We went there for spring break and there are other parts of 30A that just looked so fun and busy. But we quickly found out that we were in a better spot. We had access to those locations, but we were not swarmed by young kids...and during spring break, there were teenagers everywhere...but luckily not by (Website hidden by Airbnb) was a modest crowd which was great! We were so close to the beach and the pool was perfect! We were able to access fun restaurants with a quick drive, but could escape the chaos. This was also perfect for our small dog. This house faces backward and has a small yard my dog could enjoy (no enclosed fence, but still great). This ended up being such a fun and convenient spot. We will definitely come back again. February 28, 2021 - Airbnb Review by Jamise This house is better than described! It is a perfect location - right across the street from the beach access. It was clean, stylish , and had every amenity needed. The kitchen is fully stocked and has plenty of dishes, silverware, and glasses for your crew. The beds are so comfortable and the master bath is large. Management is extremely responsive and took care of all of our needs during our stay. The management company went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We were a 2 min walk to the beach and a short bike ride or walk away from fun activities. I would definitely stay again. A very short walk to each of these and shopping and restaurants are also close. Look forward to coming back soon! The bed were comfortable. The location is fabulous with a short walk to the beach. We brought our bikes, and didn’t need to use the car for the entire week!
