Emerald Coast Map

Emerald Coast Areas

Florida's Emerald Coast is the 60 miles of snow-white beaches and emerald-blue waters.  The Emerald Coast goes from Destin (served by the Emerald Coast/Fort Walton Airport-VPS) to the East on historic route 30A which extends to Rosemary Beach (served by the Panama City Airport - ECP)

Destin

Destin

The heart of the action, Destin harbor and the surrounding beaches features amenity-laden condo high-rises, shops, restaurants, easy water access for boating (and oh yeah, some of the best sugary-white-sandy beaches on the planet)

Destin

Destin harbor at nightDestin is known for its Gulf of Mexico beaches and many golf courses, as well as the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Nature trails pass through the dunes of Henderson Beach State Park in the south, where the coastline is dotted with pine and oak trees sheltering wildlife. To the west are the tall slides, waterfalls and pools of Big Kahuna’s water park.

30A

Historic US Route 30A hugs about 40 miles of the coast that features some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.  The area is a 'low key' alternative to the large beach cities of Destin on the West to Panama City on the East.  There are a series of little towns along 30A like Dune Allen, Blue Mountain, Grayton Beach, Seaside, Seagrove, Watercolor, Seacrest, Alys and Rosemary Beaches and a bike path follows the road most of it's length.
